Sandcastle building materials on the fly. :)
This is where my heart is...
Unfortunately, running away to the beach is out of the question, there are too many things that need to be done around the house.
Like clearing out the backyard and porch and prepping for our spring garden...
Which is actually kind of fun.
Due to my dog digging up the yard, I will only be planting flowers and possibly a citrus tree (or two) in the ground. Everything else like herbs and vegetables will have to be potted. (And surrounded by chicken wire. Thanks to the cats. Who think that anything and everything is an optional litter box.)
Fur babies are interesting...
What are ya'll up to this lazy Sunday?

nice pics, lovely blog :)

Aaah! Wish I were on that beautiful beach, too! Cold here - freezing, actually! Love that you are willing to work your garden around your pets. Me too! Herbs in barrels, flowers in pots on deck, anything else has chicken wire! That's o.k. - love my pets. Going shopping today. Have a Happy Sunday! xx

ReplyDeleteThe idea of living near the beach fascinates me. Would I run off to the beach frequently, ignoring the household tasks, or would I get used to the wonders of nature outside my door? I just don't know...
ReplyDeleteThat looks woooonderful! We had an ice storm yesterday so I'm finding myself missing the warm sunny weather here a bit more today. I understand why people have "winter homes" in FL now. ;)
