Thrifted

Set of vintage tins (at least I think they're vintage) made in England, 8 in all.

I have stacked bins of thrifted goods that need to be photographed and posted on Ebay and Etsy. I love the hunt, not so much the editing/typing and listing. As a result, I forget what I have until I clean and reorganize. Is anyone else like that? (John, in the off chance that you read this- thank you for being patient with me and not freaking out when I bring more stuff home. And for sharing your office closet as a means of storage space. I love you!)

Thank you to everyone that participated in last weeks link up!
Some of the highlights: Marium at Decorate Vintage found the most amazing vintage lamps. Allison at Just Underneath found all sorts of cool things with a tiara being my favorite! Mid Mod Mom has the gift for finding mid century modern pieces! And, My Fancy found antique coins dating back to the 1800's in a little sewing box that she thrifted! These are just a few of the links from last week but everyone found and/or contributed something amazing!

On to The Weekly Thrift

  1. Very pretty! So far I've only Ebay-ed a few clothing items I picked up that I ended up not liking once I got them home, but have thought about it with other treasures I see. That said though--I have enough of my own junk to get rid of first! LOL I wish there were a way to make it go faster, I listed 10 items yesterday and it felt like it took forever.

  9. They look vintage to me, great find! I try to post a listing once a day so that I don't get too bogged down with stuff. That also keeps me from getting annoyed about sitting at the computer for forever.

  17. They're so beautiful. My grandma had similar ones but with black background, but I don't have any idea where those are now (after she passed away).

  18. I totally agree with you! I love to find thrifted treasures but HATE HATE HATE to take the time to list them. Hence my entire upstairs Bonus Room full of unlisted items.

  24. Ahojda. Andie xoxoxox

  30. Hey Wendy! I didn't enter the meme this week because my photo was mildly thrifty. I don't know exactly why I didn't think it fit, but I will come back next week. I promise. ...and like Rapunzel of Disney's TANGLED, "I never break my promise. Never."
